What type of clothing should I bring? (for those who ask twice)

Layers are critical and many first time visitors to the area are shocked by the crispness of the evening temperatures.

Our climate is comfortable during most of the academic year (October - July). But temperatures can range from quite cool to hot in a day, so we recommend these three words when packing: layers, sunscreen, hat! For outdoor activities, we do provide blankets, but you’ll be glad you have your favorite cozy scarf/wrap/jacket with you.

We’re located on a beach in a rural, agricultural, rustically beautiful place. You’ll want to bring sunscreen, big hats, dark sunglasses, casual, comfortable clothing, and practical footwear. It’s possible you won’t see an even surface for your entire stay. Even the finest restaurants here are beach casual.
